Music at St Peter’s

St. Peter's Eaton Square is one of only a handful of London churches which maintains a professional mixed choir.

The singers are drawn almost exclusively from former scholars of Oxbridge choral foundations.

St. Peter's has long enjoyed an enviable reputation for a wide and varied repertoire which ranges from Ockeghem and Isaac to Poulenc, Messiaen and Martin.

VOLUNTARY CHOIR

The voluntary choir is a lively, friendly and informal group who sing at the 9.45 am Family Eucharist.

We rehearse before and after the service; our repertoire is broad and varied and is constantly expanding.

Prospective new members are encouraged to contact the choirmaster, Stephen Brown, on 07958 409267 or on Stephenxyz@aol.com.  They are advised that enthusiasm and commitment are much more important than experience, and they are assured of a warm welcome.
