About us

St Peter’s Eaton Square is beautiful parish church which offers a warm welcome to all. We serve a mixed community in Victoria, Belgravia and Pimlico, and have a diverse congregation who come from other areas of London too. Our worship centres on the Eucharist, which is celebrated daily. Each Sunday we offer a lively Family Eucharist attended by lots of families and children, and a Sung Eucharist with an outstanding professional choir and beautiful liturgy. We are an inclusive church where all are warmly welcomed. We seek to worship God together, to serve others and to proclaim the gospel of God’s love made known in Jesus Christ. We are delighted to be involved in the exciting community around the church, and especially for our close association with St Peter's Church of England Primary School.

St Peter 2
St Peter’s is a Church of England parish church in the Westminster Deanery and the Diocese of London. It was designed in the classical style by the architect Henry Hakewill and completed in 1827, enlarged in 1875, and then partly destroyed by fire in 1987. The redesigned interior of the church which was completed in 1991 has made St Peter’s one of the most beautiful churches in London today. Inside the light and airy interior, the eye is drawn to the exquisite gold mosaic of the apse at the east end of the church, and the beautiful open pipework and working of the organ above the glass doors at the west. With a large modern Parish Hall and excellent meeting rooms too, St Peter’s is able to share its facilities with the community of which we are a part.
St Peter 4
St Peter's is currently in an interregnum. Revd Julie Khovacs joined the parish as Assistant Priest in September 2015 and moved from a curacy at Ashford Parish Church. Originally from the USA, Julie studied Theology in Canada and Scotland, and trained at Wescott House in Cambridge. Her husband is also ordained and serving at a parish in London. St Peter's is supported by Revd Jacqui Miller, Revd Simon Walsh and Dr Judith Richardson LLM.
