The May Fair brings together the whole community in a day of fun and celebration. The church is cleared of its pews and stalls selling antiques and bric-a-brac, much sought after clothes and books fill the inside of the building.
Outside and in the Parish Hall will be all kinds of stalls and activities for children, including a visit from the city farm, the St Michael and All Angels Steel Band, as well as stalls selling fresh local produce, flowers and cakes, and delicious food for lunch. There will be visits from the local police, from the local Fire Brigade with a Fire Engine for children to explore, live music and much more.
Proceeds from the 2019 May Fair will be used to help build our Access Ramp and the redevelopment of our Welcome Room at the front of the church.
We would love your help - please get involved if you can! Come to the May Fair on Saturday 11th may. Please donate items for us to sell - clothes in good condition, antique and bric a brac items, books, fresh produce, or prizes and valuable items or experiences for us to raffle or auction. Or simply sposnsor the Fair. And if you would like to be part of the large team of people who make the May Fair happen, please contact Revd Julie Khovacs: 020 7235 4482
